Pricing Guide for Abingdon Appliance Services

  • Callout and Labour Charges: These are one-off fees, even if multiple visits are required.

  • Spare Parts: If required, these are charged extra.

  • Ovens: £60

    • Double Oven: +£5

    • Range Cooker: +£10

    • Electrical Repair (non-gas side) on Dual Fuel Appliance: +£30

  • Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers, Washer Dryers, Dishwashers: £70

    • Integrated: +£10

  • Cooker Hoods, Under-sink Waste Disposal, Coffee Machines, Steam Ovens, and other appliance types: £75

  • Fridges, Fridge Freezers, Freezers: £65

    • Integrated: +£15

    • American Style: +£10

Additional Services

  • Additional Appliance Repair during Callout Visit: +50% of Appliance Type Callout Fee (supplemental charges may still apply)

  • Premium Appliance (e.g., Miele, Maytag, Falcon, Mercury, top of the range models from other brands): +£0 to £25

  • Installation of New Appliance Following Callout: £50 - £75

  • Stand-alone Integrated Appliance Installation: £100+

  • Kitchen Cabinet Alterations: £30 - £150

  • Drain Pipe Unblocking (blockage in pipe after appliance outlet): £5 - £50

  • Small Appliance Drop-off Repair: £30 - £50 By appointment only, please.

Additional Information

  • All prices will be quoted before work commences. The callout fee is due upon the start of the visit.

  • Repairs and parts fitted are covered by a 1-year Guarantee.

  • The guarantee includes additional, non-related faults arising with the appliance unless caused by physical damage or deliberate misuse.

  • Any additional charges and the reasoning will be clearly communicated before being incured, and are made at the engineer's discretion.

Terms and Conditions for Abingdon Appliance Services

1. Introduction

Welcome to Abingdon Appliance Services! By using our appliance repair services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Our operating hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays. We provide callout services to visit customers' homes and repair faulty domestic appliances.

2. Service Availability

2.1 Our services are available within the Abingdon area and surrounding regions as specified on our website. 2.2 We reserve the right to refuse service outside our specified service areas.

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. 3.2 We strive to attend appointments punctually within the agreed time window. 3.3 If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

4. Service Charges

4.1 Our callout fee and repair charges will be provided at the time of booking. 4.2 Additional charges may apply for parts and extended repair times, which will be discussed and agreed upon before commencing work. 4.3 Payment of Callout is due upon completion of the initial visit, and subsequent balance on completion of the repair service and can be made by cash, credit/debit card, or other accepted payment methods.

5. Guarantee and Warranty

5.1 We offer a standard 12-month guarantee on all repair services performed by our technicians. This guarantee covers a limited amount of unrelated faults to provide customers with peace of mind. 5.2 The guarantee does not cover faults caused by serious misuse, accidental damage, or any other issues unrelated to the appliance, e.g. a leak onto the appliance . 5.3 If an appliance fails within the 12-month guarantee period due to a related issue, we will repair it free of charge.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Customers must ensure that appliances are accessible and free from obstructions before our technician's arrival. 6.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information about the appliance and the fault to the best of their knowledge.

7. Health and Safety

7.1 Our technicians adhere to strict health and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective repairs. 7.2 Customers are expected to comply with any health and safety requests made by our technicians during the repair process.

8. Data Protection

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
